Hao Wang

Hao Wang received his B.S. of Statistics from University of Sci. and Tech. of China in 2017. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student of CMSE at MSU advised by Dr. Jianrong Wang.

His previous research systematically delineates essential enhancer regulation by modeling CRISPR screening data and decodes hierarchical sequential interdependence of combinatorial TF modules.

He also focus on interdisciplinary research of machine learning and plant biology. Founded by NRT-IMPACT program, he will computationally predicts enhancers that are highly involved in gene regulation of plant. By taking advantage of his expertise in constructing human genome regulatory network, he will further predicts large-scale long-range enhancer-gene interactions in plant. Based on predicted network, he will elucidate interdependency between combinatorial TF models.
